Ruth’s work in leadership development means she has a good understanding of the context for leaders and what “good” looks like. Typical topics she coaches on are: managing change, stepping into a new role, clarifying career direction, effective leadership and working in teams. She is passionate about designing leadership programmes that are creative and innovative, and achieve major shifts for individuals and teams. Ruth’s style is non-directive, challenging, pragmatic and results orientated but also allows for enjoyment and creativity.

Ruth has 20 years’ HR experience in the public and private sector, specialising in the last 5 years in leadership development and executive coaching. In her most recent role in the NHS, Ruth was responsible for programme managing the delivery of a portfolio of Pan London Leadership programmes, talent management and alumni networks and was the lead for coaching and mentoring across London.

Other Relevant Experience

Outside work Ruth is a facilitator on an international emerging leaders programme for a charity affiliated with the UN and travels to places like Italy and Brazil to do this.
