Leadership Development, Coaching & Consulting Experience
Sandro began offering individual coaching programs in 2009 and, since 2012, has focused his efforts on leadership development. He has worked in the private sector (e.g., for one of the world’s top three consulting firms, as well as in insurance, ICT, and engineering), the public sector (water, government agencies, universities, law enforcement), and the nonprofit sector (the United Nations and various NGOs), collaborating extensively with TPC Leadership, a global company founded in 2000 that specializes in leadership solutions. As a facilitator and coach in the private sector, Sandro has worked in Spain and Italy, the U.S. and the U.K., Turkey and Egypt, Switzerland and Germany. For various United Nations agencies, Sandro conducts training and coaching programs (both individual and group) both online and in person, in Italy, Afghanistan, Lebanon, South Africa, and Denmark.
As a coach and program director for WYSE International, a UN-affiliated NGO that offers leadership coaching programs, he has led numerous workshops and two-week programs in Italy, the Netherlands, Brazil, and Japan since 2003.
Other Relevant Experience
From 2000 to 2009, Sandro worked with the firm Mediazioni (as a founding partner) in the field of mediation and conflict resolution; from 2005 to 2016, he taught at public and private universities in Italy (Florence and Pisa) and in the U.S. (New York), and also authored numerous articles and essays on communication and conflict management; since 2010, he has been a consultant on conflict transformation and intercultural development in the nonprofit sector and in public administration. For his work on conflict resolution, he has been accredited as a trainer by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of the Interior.
