Team Offsites
& Retreats

More than a meeting away from the office, a strategic pause to recalibrate the relationships and agreements a team runs on.

Why does connection
drive high performance?

The day-to-day crowds out the things a team most needs to do together. Trust erodes quietly under delivery pressure. The tensions that matter (competing priorities, unspoken frustrations, the conversations everyone is avoiding) rarely surface in a normal meeting, because there’s never the time or the safety to raise them. And the longer a team operates without that recalibration, the more it drifts.

High performance is built on trust, and that is what our offsite solutions are designed to strengthen.

Stepping out of the routine gives a team the perspective to see itself clearly, face latent conflicts, and turn resistance into clear agreements while leaders get the chance to see one another as people, not just functions, and that vulnerability is what makes honest challenge and real trust possible. It aligns the team so everyone is genuinely rowing in the same direction, under the same priorities, rather than assuming they are. And it lets a team live the culture it wants to build, intensively and together, rather than only talking about it.

Liberating potential

We design each offsite around the team in front of us.

Offsites suit leadership teams, partner and founder groups, and intact teams ready to do real work on themselves, not just spend time together. Sessions are immersive and experiential rather than slide-driven, built to get people moving, talking, and engaging with one another differently than they do in the office.

Depending on the team and the goals, we draw on a wide repertoire of formats: fishbowl discussions where an inner circle works a topic while others observe and rotate in; world café rounds that mix people across small tables; walking meetings and gallery walks that get people out of their chairs; hot seats, thematic rooms, speed-networking tables, and fast-paced PechaKucha or “shark tank” style sharing.

We favour venues with room to think and plenty of nature, and we use the physical environment deliberately, because it shapes how a group shows up.

Cadence is key. Offsites work best as a rhythm rather than a one-off — across a year, a sequence of offsites tends to build on itself: an early session establishing trust and ways of working, a braver one tackling the conflicts and difficult conversations that only become possible once trust exists, and a later one taking stock, consolidating, and setting direction for the year ahead.

Bringing the magic

What we deliver

Dedicated time and space away from the day-to-day for teams to build trust, align on purpose and strategy, and leave with the renewed energy and shared direction needed to perform at their best. While every agenda is customised, the arc of an offsite typically moves through: tone setting, connection, experiential activity, alignment, and re-energising the team for what comes next.

Trust & ways of working

Establishing how the team operates at its best: deepening trust, reading the team’s real dynamics, and decoding the tensions and bottlenecks that quietly hold performance back.

The difficult conversations

The most courageous offsite, and only possible once enough trust exists: naming real tensions, disagreeing productively, and surfacing the “elephants in the room” — turning avoidance and resistance into clear, shared agreements.

Consolidation & looking ahead

Taking stock of what’s changed, locking shared priorities and each person’s role in delivering them, and designing direction for what’s next, with facilitated strategic planning where it’s useful.

Our results stick.
Don’t just take our word for it.

“Thank you again for earlier today. Our whole staff was buzzing after this morning, people were in a super positive mood and seemed excited about the future.”

FAQ

Common questions about Team Offsites and Retreats

Offsites work best as a rhythm rather than a one-off. A typical sequence moves from an early session establishing trust, to a braver session tackling live conflicts once trust exists, to a later session consolidating and setting direction.

Leadership teams, partner and founder groups, and intact teams ready to do real work on themselves, not simply spend time together.

Sessions are immersive and experiential rather than slide-driven or purely social, built to surface tensions that do not normally get raised and to convert them into agreements the team can act on.

Our solutions are always designed with the client with our recommendation for the first offsite lasting two days followed by one-day meetings every two to three months through the duration of one year.

A successful offsite doesn’t end when the event finishes; it shows up in the work weeks later. We look for three key signals of lasting change: First is the adoption of New Habits, when the team consistently applies the frameworks and norms agreed upon during the offsite; second is accountability and execution, monitoring if decisions lead to clear ownership and concrete follow-through, rather than slipping back into business-as-usual; and third is reduced operational friction, tracking when decisions are made faster and alignment is maintained with far less effort because the core trust and expectations were established.

Yes. We deliver our Team Offsites and Retreats across all regions, in 27 languages, through a global network of consultants who combine international consistency with local insight. The program model and quality standards travel with it wherever it runs.
