Neel Arya

Approach
Neel works with established leaders and high potentials to successfully navigate significant leadership transitions, in the context of digital transformation and strategic/culture change.
Neel’s style is often described by coachees as both ‘challenging’ and ‘caring’. He works in partnership with his coachees and tailors his approach based on individual needs. He draws on a range of tools and techniques from psychology, systems thinking, design and business consulting. Together, they identify practical steps to support a successful transition and experiment with these in a safe space. Through the coaching journey, the coachee will work at depth to build their self-understanding as well as a deeper awareness of the context/system around them and the interplay between them. Neel works with his own behavior change model and uses this to drive sustainable change from the start of the process.
Leadership Development, Coaching & Consulting Experience
Neel has significant experience of coaching across professional services, global pharma, FMCG, strategic design, the UN system and the UK NHS. He has designed and led multiple workshops for major global organisations focusing on leadership skills/behaviours (at a variety of levels), culture change and digital transformation. As a Facilitator, Neel brings a warm, compassionate and challenging style which he uses to support senior people to stretch and grow. He has significant experience in building creative learning environments, methods and processes that enable deep change at the individual and group level.

Prior to becoming an Executive Coach, Neel worked for Goldman Sachs, Unilever, KPMG and BP. He was a Director in KPMG’s Management Consulting team and a member of the Executive team of BP’s internal consulting group.
