Caroline Lewis

I am passionate about working with, and developing, others and ensuring that training/development interventions are practical, relevant, energetic, fun and, most importantly, actionable and sustainable in the workplace!

I am particularly focused on the interactions and dynamics which exist between leaders and their teams in order to develop a culture where everyone is able to do their best and thrive in an ever changing environment.

I’m an MCIPD qualified learning and development professional with proven skills in the design, development and delivery of training and development solutions focusing on the areas of leadership, team development, communication and performance management. In addition, I work on a one to one basis, with individuals at all levels, as a coach, helping people to fulfil their potential.

My Leadership experience was gained during 18 years working within the Learning & Development Teams in the Corporate and Personal sectors of Barclays Bank Plc. This is where my where passion for developing people was first ignited and where I gained both leadership and consulting experience as I led teams who analysed the needs of the finance business and then developed interventions to meet these needs.

During this time, I developed my skills as an executive coach by training with Sir John Whitmore (the GROW model ‘guru’) where I gained my first coaching certificate. Recognising the power that coaching has to unlock the potential in others and transform the way they think and act, I have continued to develop my skills in the coaching arena since then. I have utilised and further developed my coaching practice for the last 25 years as an independent leadership consultant, where I continue to work with Private, Public and 3rd Sector organisations.

Since becoming an independent consultant in 2000, I have consulted with many organisations to develop and deliver interventions which enable and empower people to achieve success for themselves and the organisation for which they work. Most recently (last 5 years), I’ve worked in the following sectors:

Professional Services, Management Consulting, Technology, Mining & Testing, Finance, Insurance, Telecoms, Pharmaceutical, Crop Science, Education and third sector/charity.

I work internationally and enjoy bringing people together from different backgrounds so everyone can learn with and from each other. I believe in giving everyone the opportunity to hear and be heard. This allows us to appreciate and understand different approaches in order to achieve the best results
