Angie Herrmann

Angie’s approach is holistic and focussed on facilitating individuals to develop themselves through change and challenge in order to utilise their full potential for their own and their organisation’s benefit. She combines her ability for rapid incisive analysis and pragmatism with deeper psychological insight, emotional intelligence and compassion. Skilled in both the corporate and the personal sphere, she has a particular interest in coaching leaders and teams through life- and industry-changing events. She enables them to refocus and rebuild, and to engage constructively with the learning approach required to manage adversity and achieve transformation.

Angie coaches internationally with a focus on the service sectors, including financial, legal, health and professional services; as well as entrepreneurs in the SME sector. She enjoys working in a multi-cultural environment and is interested in the development of diversity in leadership teams and the benefits this brings to organisations. She is active in the development of medical leadership and the positive impact this can bring to the health sector. She has extensive involvement in facilitation and training, including health and recovery coaching.

With her background in medicine and neurosurgery, Angie combines her scientific and clinical foundation with her extensive training, knowledge and experience in organisational and business management. On completing her MBA, she worked in senior management roles, developing ground-breaking revenue-generating projects and spearheading the public/private initiative of healthcare and the set-up of the first private hospital integrated into a State hospital in South Africa. She also ran her own Business Consulting firm for many years, with clients in both the public and private sector including The University of Cape Town, South African Druggists, Saatchi and Saatchi, Rhoenklinikum-AG and Nuclicks.
