Approach
Alina dedicates time to understanding the organizational context and the needs of stakeholders, and collaborates with organizations, their owners, and their leaders in the process of defining and implementing the best organizational design capable of delivering business results, the long-term benefits and value expected by owners, the performance and efficiencies expected by leaders, and a culture of inclusivity and contribution in which people reach their full potential.
Leadership Development, Coaching & Consulting Experience
Alina has been running her own business consulting and executive coaching practice since 2019. Drawing on both her professional qualifications (MSc, MBA, PMP) and her experience in senior management (over 25 years), Alina is a change architect and catalyst. She works with entrepreneurs, senior executives, and high-potential emerging leaders in EU-based organizations with up to 250 employees, and supports C-suite leaders and their management teams—through business consulting, training, facilitating workshops on decision-making or clarity, individual or group mentoring, and executive coaching—to create the best possible organization tailored to their goals, ambitions, and needs.
Alina collaborates with organizations and decision-makers in the fields of engineering, naval engineering, oil and gas, information technology, biochemistry, finance, academia, and research. She understands the complexities that senior leaders face in managing their own expectations, balancing short- and long-term results, corporate and local needs, and current and future directions in a rapidly evolving environment. She meets clients where they are. Depending on the client’s specific needs, he combines his managerial experience (strategy, budgeting, operations, project management, human resources) with mentoring, coaching, or customized training workshops tailored to the client’s specific requirements.
Other Relevant Experience
Previously, Alina gained a solid background in engineering and general management while working in the fields of engineering, procurement and purchasing, logistics, and project management. For 14 years, she led Romania’s largest naval design firm on behalf of British private owners and oversaw the company’s complete reorganization, expansion, and development of operations involving over 350 employees, with 15 senior and mid-level managers reporting directly to her across Project Management & Engineering, IT, Quality Management, HR, and Finance. She guided the company from the time of its privatization through four cycles of organizational maturity, transforming it into one of the most renowned international ship design organizations. Alina is also an active volunteer with PWN, WYSE, ICF, and GRASP and provides mentoring and coaching.
