Approach

Jan is a pragmatic, solution focused organization coach who strongly believes in the possibilities organizations have once they have experienced how to make a real connection with their employees. He is driven by his experience that leaders can only create followers when they are aware of themselves, their strengths and limitations and the impact they have on others. In his approach, he starts by creating trust and openness in order for the others to show themselves. He can be direct, challenging and to the point but always with respect for the individual. The key values Jan holds are trust, respect, responsibility and an unlimited belief in possibilities and potential.

Leadership Development, Coaching & Consulting Experience

Jan started his career within the financial business. For over 20 years he worked both in professional and managerial roles for several (global) organizations. In his last position, he was a board member of Aon Corporation and responsible for the overall sales within the Netherlands. In 2008 he decided to use his talents and experience in a different way by coaching organizations who were dealing with themes around Change Management, Leadership Development and Team Development. Both his practical experience within the business field and his search to fulfil his passion to develop others make Jan a pragmatic, result oriented trainer/coach with a focus on operating within the business context of his clients.

Other Relevant Experience

Before Jan collaborated with TPC leadership, he worked as a trainer/organisation coach and consultant for Twee of Meer and his own company Change in Progress. In this role, he has worked for a variety of organizations, such as: ING, Flora Holland, Heineken, Aegon, Nationale-Nederlanden, KLM, Delta Lloyd, KONE and KPMG.
