Benoit is driven to support senior executives facing complex change. Before guiding them in their search for answers, he will make sure to pinpoint the questions that need to be asked. Benoit creates a safe environment to exchange and reflect on habits, behaviors, opportunities, challenges and possible actions.

Leadership Development Experience

Benoit has extensive leadership and consulting experience. First as a strategy consultant with BCG, and later as CFO, CEO and board member for several companies.  When managing or consulting large organizations, it’s not about what you can deliver on your own, but how you coach people toward performance. Benoit is currently working towards EMCC and ICF coaching accreditation.

Other Relevant Experience

After graduating from Solvay Business School in 2001, Benoit first worked with Barco and then The Boston Consulting Group.  For these companies, he lived and worked in the US, China and South-East Asia.

In 2010, having moved back to Belgium, he became CFO at van Hoorebeke Timber. Three years later he was appointed CEO, and still serves as a non-executive director on the board today.

In 2015, Benoit became CEO of the Matermaco Group and a member of the management team of the Dutch holding it belongs to. They are a leading distributor of agricultural, construction and mining machinery in Netherlands, Belgium and Northern-Africa.

Since early 2020, Benoit fully focuses on growing and supporting leaders. He does this through executive coaching, and also as a non-executive director or advisory board member.
