Approach

Andrew designs and delivers training packages that use a coaching approach to engage participants in collaborative experiential learning processes. His approach helps organisations and systems to maximise results through innovative leadership and coaching interventions.

Leadership Development, Coaching & Consulting Experience

Andrew is a psychologist, coach and leadership professional with more than 20 years’ experience. His expertise spans the areas of leadership, consultancy, training and facilitation development, coaching and organisational development.

Andrew is particularly skilled at working with diverse groups and has a depth of experience working with Chief Executives, Board Members and Senior Executives. He has delivered training and undertaken consultancies with leaders across public, corporate and voluntary sectors from over 100 countries.

Other Relevant Experience

Andrew’s original training was in psychology and his PhD was in the field of conflict resolution. Along with extensive clinical experience, he was a Senior Lecturer in Medical Education specialising in the areas of health psychology and behavioural change.

In his academic role Andrew was involved in pioneering problem-based learning techniques, establishing the first graduate education medical programme in Australia – which now forms the basis of graduate medical education in the UK. During this period he was also a Director of his university’s international programmes, which involved business development, strategic partnership and international relations work.

Andrew moved to the UK in 2002, where he is currently involved in training, coaching and consulting work with a wide range of leading organisations across all sectors.

Andrew is also pro-bono Director of WYSE International, an international leadership NGO that identifies and supports emerging leaders around the world and supports them to create change in their communities. In this role, Andrew is the organisation’s representative to the United Nations. He is also a faculty member in a number of university level coach training and conflict resolution programmes (at Certificate, Diploma and Masters of Science levels) in the UK and in Europe.

Education, Qualifications & Certifications

  • Doctoral Degree (PhD) in Psychology
  • Professional registration as a Psychologist
  • 2 year psychotherapist training in Psychosynthesis / Transpersonal Psychology
  • 2 year training in Clinical Hypnosis
