ANNEMIJN BRIET

Annemijn Briet - Senior Leadership Consultant

Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go and do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive

Approach

Annemijn is a business leader with 12+ years of international working experience as a Marketing manager in the public (UN) and corporate (Nike) sectors. Annemijn retrained in 2016 to work as a Personal Development Coach and Facilitator for Business Professionals. Having been a business professional herself in diverse international working experiences has taught her to be creative and resilient and helps her to easily engage with clients from diverse professional backgrounds. Her style is open, involved and curious. Key in her approach is ‘out of the box thinking’, as in there are no problems, only many growth opportunities.

She enjoys guiding clients to identify their USP and provide practical support along the way. Clients experience Annemijn as a clear communicator, knowledgeable and effective in creating clarity in sometimes chaotic circumstances.

Leadership Development Experience

Annemijn specialises in 1:1 coaching, (team) coaching/facilitation and leadership development: working with leaders at all levels in small and large organisations to help them identify their unique talents, what gives them energy and the next growth opportunities. She served clients including Irdeto, EY, Digital Insurance Group, Gotzha , Coca Cola (Vienna, Austria), Oakfield Holdings (Lusaka, Zambia), Publicis Sapient (New, Delhi, India), Foregenix (Cape Town, SA) and Thales Group (in Prague, Czech Republic).

Other Relevant Experience

Prior to joining TPCLeadership, Annemijn worked as a Brand Manager for Nike Inc, being responsible for the Running and Women Sport Categories. She has worked and lived in several countries both in Europe (Czech Republic, France, Spain) and Africa (Malawi, South Africa), which has given her a good understanding of the cultural diversities and challenges in international organisations like Guidon and Oreel. She is Co-Author of the book ‘Babe, you got this. Het Werkboek’ (2018, Dutch) with coaching tips geared for female entrepreneurs. And often uses her learnings from her own sport career (sailing World Championships and cycling stages of the Tour de France) as a way to challenge her clients: the only barrier that stops you from achieving your goals is your mind.
