Daniel Matteo

Daniel combines the problem-solving approach of a consultant with the coaching mindset of helping others tap into their own potential. As someone who has been in the trenches of managing diverse, volunteer teams for the past 15 years, Daniel also brings in his experience of balancing pragmatism with striving for the ideal outcome. He brings a can-do mentality and a calm presence to his work. 

Being an avid reader of psychology, history, and philosophy, Daniel draws on a range of ideas from across disciplines. 

Daniel is an experienced coach and trainer who has trained 200+ individuals on consulting skills or leadership topics over the last 5 years. Working at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), he supported organizations across industries in organizational design, process simplification as well as change management. A key strength of his is bringing stakeholders together, co-developing solutions that are sustainable and ensuring strategic roadmaps are both ambitious and feasible. 

Since 2018 he has worked as an independent consultant and coach and has trained young executives in business and politics. 

As an academic, Daniel gave seminars on Globalization and International Relations during his 4 years in London. As a manager of NGOs and political movements, Daniel headed an NGO with 3.000 members, helped build up a political start-up and successfully managed their campaign for the 2019 European elections. Daniel has also co-developed a leadership development programme and works on creating a coaching culture in a political party.
