Leadership starts with having a strong understanding of self and others, from where relationships based on trust are built. This is true in both local and global settings and forms the basis of the approach Tamara takes. Tamara has a strong passion for learning. She has a curious mindset and strong drive to find meaningful insights. In her work with leaders at all levels, she aims to create awareness and choice around what leader they want to be and what organizational culture they want to create while working on the different dynamics involved in personal, cultural and organizational change.
Leadership Development, Coaching & Consulting Experience Tamara has managed cultural and organizational change programs both in Europe and Asia. She worked on both strategy as well as implementation in various functions, ranging from an MT member of a sales organization to a function lead. She became an executive coach and leadership consultant when moving permanently to Asia and works on a wide range of leadership solutions for leaders and their teams. She builds awareness around their leadership & behaviour, their impact on others and how they are influencing the systems around them. Customers are both Asian and Western, have various functional expertise ranging from technical functions to general management and sales & marketing. They all have in common that they work in a multi-cultural environment and are facing either personal or business changes.
Industry Experiences Being educated as a civil engineer, Tamara is proud to have been part of the construction team building the KLCC Shopping Centre in Kuala Lumpur. Within Philips, she worked with three different industries; Lighting, Healthcare and Consumer Electronics both on a local and global level. She managed the recruitment outsourcing project to Accenture in Asia for NXP Semiconductors, giving her insight in the complexity of the high-tech manufacturing industry. Developing leaders within Unilever throughout the APAC region has built her knowledge of the consumer goods industry. She coaches leaders within UNICEF who are located across the globe and is responsible for the coaching program of WYSE International, an NGO which supports emerging leaders.
