If, like me, you’re convinced of the benefits of Coaching and would like to make it part of your personal development, or if you’ve heard enough to want to know more, then there is a good chance that like I was, you’re a little confused about the best way to move forward.

The process of choosing a training provider can be challenging. Google ‘coach training’ and you’ll be met with page after page of training providers telling you about their institute and course. For me I was very clear my training had to be internationally accredited and recognised as industry leading. This led me to follow the path of the ICF (International Coach Federation), but I also considered the EMCC (European Mentoring & Coaching Council) route. Each have their benefits and depending on context, may be more appropriate for you and your goals.

Once you’ve chosen your route then you’ll need to look at training providers. Each have their own particular style and area of focus. Some focusing on corporate coaching while others will lean towards ‘life’ coaching. Again, depending on your goals you’ll need to assess each provider and their focus against your needs.

Here at TPC Leadership we understand how difficult it can be to navigate your way through these decisions, which is why we run regular free open mornings for people to explore TPC as a training provider.  We give you an overview of our programme and our methodology, as well as spending time discussing the differences and similarities of the ICF and EMCC. As a training provider who is accredited by both the EMCC and ICF we are uniquely placed to offer subjective advice and guidance on each path.

Here at TPC Leadership we understand you will invest a lot of time, energy, and money in your coaching training, and we are committed to making sure you find the best program for you.

Our next open morning is on the 13th December, 9-11am. To register for this free event please complete the form below to confirm your spot. We’d love to see you there!
